Welcome to Airlie Center, a leading conference and event destination in the United States. Founded as an “Island of Thought” more than 50 years ago, Airlie combines experienced leadership in conference and event planning with diversified meeting facilities, a secluded 1,200 acre campus and an ongoing commitment to sustainable and green initiatives.

A gathering place for the creative exchange of ideas with an ongoing commitment to sustainability and the environment.

The Center’s natural surroundings are the perfect setting for both productive meetings and unforgettable events. Nestled in the rolling hills of Northern Virginia, the Airlie campus is highlighted by the beautiful Airlie House, a 19th-century manor house that combines a timeless setting with progressive innovation. An active member of the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC), Airlie Center facilities are equipped with the latest conference technologies.

Just one hour’s drive from downtown Washington, D.C., and only 35 miles from Dulles International Airport, Airlie provides transformative meeting experiences for the several hundred groups that visit the Center each year. With over 17,000 square feet of meeting space, eight unique sleeping cottages and 150 well-appointed guestrooms, the Center offers the ideal location for groups in the non-profit, private and government sectors.

Airlie maintains an ongoing commitment to environmental initiatives. Airlie Center holds Virginia Department of Environmental Quality’s E3 (Exemplary Environmental Enterprise) designation, Green Seal ‘Silver’ status and LEED Gold-certification for Airlie’s Pavilion. Airlie’s sustainability efforts extend to the distinctive cuisine. The Center’s four-acre organic garden produces fruits and vegetables used to prepare the delicious dishes served at Airlie.

Airlie Center’s natural setting, distinguished meeting rooms, distinctive cuisine and impeccable service all contribute to the lasting memories created by each of our guests. Contact sales@airlie.com for more information to begin creating memories of your own.
